Grooming
We provide excellent quality care for all your pet’s grooming needs.
Tackling your pet for a toenail trim or anal gland expression is not your idea of fun, nor is trying to squeeze your 200-pound Great Dane in your shower stall for a bath. Instead of trying to manage these grooming tasks at home, turn to the grooming team at Story Road Animal Hospital for help. We’ve got the tools, equipment, and talent to calmly and expertly provide for all your pet’s grooming needs in the Irving, Las Colinas, and Euless areas.
Why Grooming is Important for Your Pet
Even if your furry pal isn’t setting out to win the Westminster Dog Show, you still want your pet to look their best.
When they look good, they feel good, and there are many other reasons why grooming is so important for your fluffy friend’s overall health and well-being. Invest in regular grooming for your pet for the following benefits:
Removal of dirt, debris, and dandruff from your pet’s fur and skin
Dispersion of natural oils for healthy skin and fur
Removal of dead fur and undercoat to prevent matting
Monitor for lumps, bumps, wounds, infections, and parasites
Aid in natural thermoregulation with a properly groomed coat
Check ears, eyes, skin, and teeth for abnormalities that need veterinary attention
Although you know your furry pal best, our grooming team literally goes over your pet with a fine-tooth comb, picking apart problems. Routine grooming provides an excellent opportunity for catching minor issues before they become serious conditions.
